Welcome To Tractor Drivers Blog!

Welcome too my blog.  If you can't tell by the name of the blog, I drive a tractor.  An international Harvester.

I figured I'd start a blog about how my day went at the farm.  Usually during the day I'm driving at least 10 pieces of equipment and using different types of tools.  We use a lot of garden tools, but these aren't the types of tools that you would use in a home garden.

These are heavy industrial tools!

One of my favorite jobs at the farm is driving the sprayer truck.  This truck holds 900 gallons of spraying agent to spray on the crops.  Honestly, I can't tell you whats in the actual solution, but the smell of it, tells you it's not something that you would want to drink!

Usually work on the farm starts at 6:00 but we really don't get rolling until 7:00.  There is a lot of maintenance work that has to be done on the tractors and all the attachments that we use.

There's nothing like having dirt or grit in the hydraulic lines of a tractor to make your day long.  Not to mention fueling them up.  Can't do much without fuel!

Well, that's my first blog post.  I look forward to updating this blog weekly.
